Jewellery through 3000 years

From the Classical Antiquity to modern times, the challenging of fashioning rare and precious materials into personal ornaments is a story of craftsmanship, development of civilization and clash of cultures.

The range of Jewellery in our web shop collection covers more than 4.000 years and all parts of the world. Concentrating on Europe it is possible to draw the outlines of developing styles and skills in the making of Jewellery.

Each epoch can be identified and understood with reference to history and culture. We hereby dare the attempt to give a short journey through the history of styles covering the last 2.000 years and with relevance to our own copies.
