About Museum Jewellery > About Museum Jewellery  |  Print  |  E-mail a friend

Museum Jewellery is a Danish jewellery shop providing authentic reproductions of museum jewellery from the classical history of Europe, Asia and Africa.

We specialize in necklaces, earrings, pendants and brooches from the Egyptian, Russian, Celtic, African, Pre-Columbian eras and the Scandinavian Viking Age.

We endeavour to recall the timeless designs and rich histories that are carefully preserved in museums around the world.

Care is taken to faithfully reproduce original materials, including all semi-precious stones and pearls. We use genuine stones which may have naturally occurring inclusions. Most jewellery elements are composed of base metal plated with 22 carat gold.

Colour variations may occur due to the hand-finishing. As noted, some pieces are offered in sterling silver, vermeil (heavy 22 carat gold plate over sterling silver) and 14 carat gold.

Our earring posts are hypoallergenic.
