The history of the Jewelry
This pendant is closely tied to the magnificent eggs created by imperial court jeweler Carl Fabergé and his artisans during the period of approximately 1880 to 1910. Not only were these eggs crafted for the Russian nobility, but they were also made for European elites and Fabergé's own shops.
In 1886, Fabergé was given an annual commission by Czar Alexander III to produce eggs for the Imperial family. These imaginatively designed eggs were carefully crafted in gold and silver with enamel, precious and semi-precious stones.
Our brightly colored miniature egg pendants available today are inspired by these original creations.
Materials: yellow-green enamel, pewter with gold finish, clear crystals, chain included, spring ring closure
Chain Length: 18"
